Many women in the state have to move away from home in search of employment, and due to a lack of employment, there is a large number of urban migrants from rural areas.

A Free Flour Mill Yojana has been started to prevent this and provide employment to women in the village.

Some women want to start businesses, but they are unable to due to poverty. Under the free flour mill scheme, the state government will give women a 100% subsidy to start flour mills.

What is the Free Flour Mill Yojana

The Free Flour Mill Yojana is an ambitious scheme launched by the Maharashtra State Government for women. Under this scheme, women of families below the poverty line are provided with a flour mill machine at a 100% subsidy.

The Maharashtra State Government has taken a progressive step to make women self-reliant and provide employment opportunities through the free Peethachi Girni Yojana.

Only women from families below the poverty line will be eligible for this scheme, and they have to use offline mode to apply.

Poverty forces women to work, and lack of employment forces them to stay away from their villages and children.

This makes it difficult for women to focus on their upbringing. Against this backdrop, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has launched a free flour mill scheme.

Under the Free Flour Mill Yojana, women are given an opportunity to start small businesses. As a result, they can start flour mills in their own villages, so there is no need for them to leave home for employment.

Applications for Free Flour Mill Yojana can be made online and offline. Women can submit applications online by visiting their nearest government Setu Facilitation Center or CSC Center.

If women have difficulty applying online, they can also avail themselves of this scheme by filling out the Free Flour Mill Yojana Maharashtra form.
